Samsung Saga now offers both with a touch screen and a full QWERTY keyboard. The phone runs on Windows Mobile 6.1, has integrated Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, EV-DO Rev, GPS and it boosts a 2 megapixels camera. The phone offers a solid performance and it is great as a messaging center. Samsung Saga also follows some of the rules of Samsung’s devise and you can tell this is a solid headset.
This phone measures 4.8 inches tall by 2.4 inches wide by 0.5 inch deep and weights 4.6 ounces. The phone will provide a comfortable feel, because it is the right size and it is not too bulky to complain about it. With the blue design, the phone stands out from all the black and silver models out there, competitors that is.
In order to choice items, to navigate around you need to just tap on the screen. There is no haptic feedback, so you will feel no vibration when using the touch screen. The display measures 2.5”, supports 65.536 colors and has a pixel resolution of 320x320. Everything looks good, sharp and bright and you can manage to customize some of the features yourself: you can choose from various themes, wallpapers, and some screensavers and so on. Below the display you will find the navigation array, which is composed from two soft keys, the Start menu shortcut, Talk/End buttons, OK button and the optical mouse (which is the directional keypad in other words). You can control the cursor on the screen with your fingers, or you can use the optical mouse to do the job. In case you are not fond of the mouse, you can turn to the traditional directional keypad.
