The display measures 2.36”, supports 16 million colors and has a pixel resolution of 320x240. Images, text and other graphics on the screen look sharp and vibrant and due to the light-sensing technology, the brightness is adjusted depending on the environment.
Nokia e63 is oriented not only for business user, but also for casual users and that is why it pack two different modes, the business one and the personal one. In the business one you have quick access to work tools, Web, e-mail, file manager, whereas in the personal mode you have access to messages, multimedia files, Web and so on. The full QWERTY keyboard has large buttons, allowing you to type easily, but you have to try them, because you can consider them being a bit too soft for your liking. You will also find a 2 megapixels camera on back of the phone, it doesn’t take brilliant pictures, but for average work, they will do. Also, to note that the phone lacks GPS, so don’t count on any navigation system. But besides these two drawbacks, the performance level is high. For example, when you are running multiple apps, e-mail and edit some documents using QuickOffice, you will have to wait just a couple of seconds before everything is loaded up. What is more, even the song and video playback runs pretty smooth.
And finally, the battery life is rated at 4 hours and 40 minutes in talk time and about 18 days in stand-by.
